After growing up in a Victorian regional city, Ashlee moved to Sydney in 2007 to commence her Bachelor of Chiropractic Science at Macquarie University. During her studies, Ashlee worked as a Chiropractic Assistant on the Northern Beaches where she was able to develop valuable clinical assessment skills and soft tissue techniques. In addition, Ashlee was actively involved in the treatment of athletes during a number of sporting events, in her final year of university. These included Macquarie University Rugby Season, Triathlons and Indoor Cricket Tournaments.
Ashlee enjoys cooking, regular exercise and spending quality time at the beach, with her family and friends. Ashlee incorporates her passion for health into her treatments, consisting of manual adjustments, joint mobilization, blocks, dry needling, soft tissue work, stretching and functional rehabilitation. From children to the elderly; Ashlee tailors her treatment to every patient, ensuring she delivers a personalised, caring approach.
Chiropractic delivers a holistic approach to patient care, assessing the whole body to locate the cause of the problem. With a focus on evidence-based care and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, Ashlee understands the importance of integrating healthcare. Co-management with other healthcare providers may be necessary to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
A strong advocate of preventative health, combined with a passion for helping others, Ashlee is always updating her knowledge and expertise. Ashlee has completed further studies in dry needling, pediatrics, pain Management and functional movement.
Ashlee plans to do further studies in nutrition and functional neurology.
