Acupuncture has returned to Bankstown Health with Han Cho. Handuk is an experienced Acupuncture and Remedial Massage Therapist with a Bachelor degree of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, he is able to assess the cause of your troubles and tailor a treatment plan to your individual needs. Han uses both Massage techniques and Acupuncture in a blended combination. This blended approach can help you to have lasting relief from any pain you may be experiencing.
Han is experienced in treating:
- Headaches/Mirgraines
- Insomnia
- Pain Management
- Stress
- Muscular aches and knots
and more. Acupuncture is a therapy that is rapidly growing in popularity and has been practiced for centuries as part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Though Acupuncture can seem scary at first, it can actually be a very relaxing experience. Han’s friendly and open personality helps to put your nerves at ease. If this is you first time trying Acupuncture, Han’s combination with Remedial Massage is a great introduction. Acupuncture is performed by inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on your body to encourage the movement of Qi, and the body’s own healing mechanisms. Traditional Chinese Medicine uses Acupuncture as a way of balancing a persons Qui – Life Force Energy. When your Qui is disrupted or low, that is when you can be more open to illness.
Remedial Massage uses hands-on techniques to change muscle physiology, form and function. Massage techniques also work on connective tissues, ligaments, fascia and inevitably the entire body. It is important to regularly seek massage and acupuncture to prevent injury and muscle tightness. Regular massage and acupuncture treatments reduce pain, relax the muscles and improve mood and vitality.
We are very excited for Handuk to be joining the team at Bankstown Health and love his passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Han is available for appointments Wednesdays and Fridays.
